The Web Planet. As a misty dawn breaks over Hampshire's New Forest National Park, thousands of spiders have been busy building their gossamer-like webs across the prickly gorse.
Large numbers of insects shelter within the confines of the gorse, including spiders, whose dew-laden webs are gloriously decorating this week's misty, heathland mornings. Dartford Warblers will navigate a way through the gorse's prickly maze of branches, searching for the spiders, and other insect prey.
